Accommodation
A magical experience all year round
Our AuroraHuts are eco-luxury igloo boats situated on Lake Västra Silen in the municipality of Årjäng near Nordmarkens Canoe Center, and on Lake Ringsjön in Blommeröd, Höör municipality. The accommodation is heated to a temperature between 18-25 degrees, which you can control yourself. All power comes from solar cells or biofuels.
During winter, they rest on the ice, and in summer, they float on the lake with an accompanying bathing bridge.

Comfortable beds
The igloo has a comfortable double bed 140 x 200 cm, a beechwood slatted frame, and an award-winning QXSchaum® foam mattress. Optimal resting comfort for different body types. The softness of the mattress can be chosen by flipping it over. Breathable surface material. The bed also comes with organic pillows and duvets from the Nordic brand Familon.
The bed has a storage space for luggage underneath. At the bedhead, there is a control panel for light and heat. There is also a Bluetooth stereo system with a USB connection.
Fully equipped kitchen
In the kitchen, there is a safe propane gas stove, sink with a cold water faucet (water is drinking water), a cabinet with a trash bin, and drawers with cutlery, pans, and a frying pan, etc.
The floor of the igloo also features a small storage space for cooling food and beverages.
Lavatory
Composting toilet, easy-to-use seat, separates liquids into the septic tank which is emptied by our staff.
Towels, bath towels, and bathrobes are provided.
Outdoor terrace
The igloo boasts an outdoor floating terrace in front of the house, equipped with a seating area, and oil lanterns. In Värmland, you’ll find a firepit and in Höor, a Green Egg Grill. Firewood and charcoal is provided.
